Women's Soccer falls in season finale

CENTRAL, S.C. – Southern Wesleyan women's soccer season came to a close on Friday night as Palm Beach Atlantic came away with a 1-0 victory.

The Warriors wrap up the season at 2-14 after Friday's loss.  The Sailfish (3-10-1) scored the lone goal in the 74th minute on a penalty kick as Kierstyn Harrington netted her first goal of the season.  Krista Anonie saved a penalty kick in the 60th minute as Anonie stopped Kasey Wyer's attempt.

Anonie was under pressure all night long with the Sailfish attempting 33 shots on the night.  Anonie made 11 saves on the evening, marking the fourth time this season she notched double digit saves.  The Warriors attempted four shots, led by Grace Taylor's three attempts.
