Cleveland, TN – Ronan O'Neill hit a NCAA provisional mark in the 10000 meters and had several top ten finishes at the Lee Fast Break over the weekend.

Track Results

110mh: Happy Lea took seventh in the 110 meter hurdles as he finished in a time of 14.94.

200m: In the 200 meters, Jaden Warner led the team as he took 25^th with a time of 22.83.  Warner was followed by Solomon Pitts who finished in 30^th with a time of 23.25.  Aziah Gaskin finished in 33^rd with a time of 23.64.

400m: Southern Wesleyan was led by Nate Hill in the 400 meters.  Hill finished in seventh with a time of 49.59.  Behind him were both Aziah Gaskin and Jaden Warner.  Gaskin took 18^th with a time of 53.18 and Warner finished in 19^th with a time of 54.25.

400mh: Happy Lea finished in second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.87.

800m: In the 800 meters, Dustyn Scruggs led the team as he took 24^th with a time of 1:55.35.  Scruggs was followed by Ethan Marchman who took 42^nd with a time of 1:58.56.  Grady Clark was the next Warrior to finish as he took 46^th with a time of 1:58.92.  Drew Jones finished in 54^th with a time of 2:00.42.

1500m: Caleb Richardson took 59^th with a time of 4:18.90.

3000m Steeple: Drew Jones took eighth in the steeplechase with a time of 9:46.53.

5000m: The Warriors were led by Grady Clark in the 5000 meters as Clark took 56^th with a time of 15:28.90.  He was followed by Grayson Gillespie and Kaden Reeder.  Gillespie took 76^th with a time of 15:59.02 and Reeder finished in 83^rd with a time of 16:17.74.

10000m: Ronan O'Neill hit a NCAA Provisional Mark in the 10000 meters as he finished in sixth with a time of 29:59.72.  His time also allowed him to break the school record and ranked him 23^rd in the country.

4x100m Relay: The Warriors team of Aziah Gaskin, Jaden Warner, Bertin Manzi, and Solomon Pitts took fifth with a time of 43.87.

4x400m Relay: In the 4x400 meter relay, Southern Wesleyan's team of Ethan Marchman, Solomon Pitts, Dustyn Scruggs and Nate Hill took fifth with a time of 3:19.71.

Field Results

Discus: In the discus, Mason Griffiths finished in 22^nd with a throw of 36.73m.

Javelin: Happy Lea took eighth in the javelin after he threw 44.79 meters.  Lea was followed by Mason Griffiths who took 12^th with a throw of 40.62 meters.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will compete in the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track & Field Championship on April 25-26.  They will then travel back to Cleveland, TN on May 10 to take part in the Lee Last Chance meet.
