Ninety Six, SC – Southern Wesleyan finish in a tie for 14^th place in the Patriot Fall Classic.  Owen Kinnunen led the team as he finished in fifth place as an individual after carding a total round score of 210, six under par for the course.

How It Happened

Owen Kinnunen led the Warriors in the Patriot Fall Classic.  He kicked off the fourth tournament of the season by hitting two over par with a 74.  Kinnunen put up an impressive performance in the second round as he hit five under par for a 67.  In the final round of the tournament, Kinnunen carded a 69 to give him a total round score of 210 to put him in a tie for fifth place.

In the first round of the tournament, Andrew Baxley carded a 74.  Baxley went on to score a 75 during the second round.  He wrapped up the Patriot Fall Classic with a third round score of 78 to give him a total round score of 227 and allow him to finish in a tie for 72^nd place. 

Kobi Smith started the Patriot Fall Classic by hitting just four over par in the first round with a 76.  In the second round, Smith hit a 76, just four over par.  The native of the United Kingdom went on to score a 77 in the third round.  His total round score of 229 allowed him to finish in a tie for 79^th.

Kieran Parkins kicked off the tournament by picking up a 79 in the first round.  He pushed on to hit under par on four holes in the second round.  At the end of the round, Parkins carded a 72.  He wrapped up the tournament by hitting eight over par in the third round to give him a round score of 80.  He accumulated a total round score of 231 to take 87^th.

In his second collegiate tournament, Landon Smith hit an 81 in the opening round.  Smith fought back in the second round of the tournament as he carded a 74.  He shot a 77 in the final round to give him a total round score of 232 to finish in a tie for 89^th.

Men's Golf will wrap up the fall season in Snow Hill, NC where they will compete in the Barton Fall Intercollegiate on October 27-28.
