Greenville, SC – Southern Wesleyan's Women's Cross Country program took seventh as a team at the Furman Invitational on Saturday morning.
How It Happened
Senior Abbey Frock led the Warriors as she finished in 76th with a time of 25:46.72. Divinity Ervin took 82nd with a time of 27:01.90. The next three Warriors to finish were Evelyn Gordon, Emma Dixon and Ava LaBrant. Separated by two seconds Gordon and Dixon took 87th and 88th respectively. Gordon finished with a time of 27:23.52 and Dixon recorded a 27:25.20. Ava LaBrant took 89th place with a time of 27:41.01.
Janey Dixon finished in 92nd place with a time of 28:01.13. Coming in 98th place, Haley Morgan finished with a time of 29:23.69. She was closely followed by Nicole Feagan in 102nd place with a time of 30:21.01.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will travel to Tallahassee, FL on September 29th as they compete at Florida State University's FSU Invite. They will wrap up regular season on October 6 as they travel up to Charlotte, NC to take part in the Royal Challenge hosted by Queens University of Charlotte. The Conference Carolinas Championship will be held on October 21.
