How It Happened

Merritt Smith led the Warriors at the Royals Challenge as her time of 19:47.55 allowed her to finished in 93^rd.  Smith was followed by senior Abbey Frock.  Frock finished in 118^th place with a time of 20:09.80.  Divinity Ervin was the next Warrior to cross the finish line as she took 148^th place with a time of 20:35.72.

Coming in 163^rd place, Emma Dixon finished with a time of 21:00.44.  She was followed by fellow freshman Evelyn Gordon.  Gordon took 173^rd with a time of 21:23.26.  Ava LaBrant finished in 181^st place with a time of 21:38.96 and Janey Dixon took 185^th with a time of 21:47.90. 

They were followed by Haley Morgan.  Morgan took 198^th with a time of 22:26.38.  Sophomore Nicole Feagan took 211st place with a time of 23:08.64.  Feagan was followed by Gisselle Lopez in 222^nd place with a time of 23:51.91.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will next compete at the Conference Carolinas Championship on October 21 in Charlotte, NC.  The NCAA Regional will be held in Dahlonega, GA on November 4 with the NCAA National Championship scheduled to be held on November 18 in Joplin, MO.
