How It Happened
Nick Howell led the Warriors in the first tournament of the Spring portion of their season. Howell shot an 82 in the first round and then a 76 and 77 in the next two rounds for a 235 total round score to put him in a tie for 70
th. Behind him,
Oliver Paddon shot a 77, 79 and 81 in the tournament for a 237 total round score for him to finish in a tie for 79
th place.
Coming in next for the Warriors,
Carter Rains finished in a tie for 94
th place. Rains shot an 85 in the first round before coming back to shoot a 77 and 82 in the next two rounds to give him a 244 total round score. He was followed by freshman Zack Locke. Locke shot an 89, 76 and 80 in his first collegiate tournament with the Warriors for a 245 total round score.
Jiras Singnoi wrapped up the field for Southern Wesleyan. He shot an 88, 80 and 80 for a 248 total round score.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will then travel to Americus, GA on February 28 through March 1 to take part in the Hurricane Invite. The Warriors will compete in Greenwood, SC on March 7-8 in the Lander Invitational. They will then travel to Wilson, NC to take part in the Barton Intercollegiate on March 14-15.
