How It Happened
Carter Rains led the team in the Matt Dyas Invitational. He shot a 73 in the first round before shooting a 76 in each of the second and third rounds. Rains' total round score of 225 put him in a tie for 23
rd place.
Rains was followed by
Nick Howell and
Oliver Paddon with total round scores of 227. Howell led the Warriors in the first round with a 71, and then shot 78 in each of the next two rounds. Paddon shot round scores of 74, 76 and 77 during the tournament. Their 227 total round scores allowed both Howell and Paddon to finish in a tie for 30
th.
Jiras Singnoi and
Juan Pablo De La Garza wrapped up the field for Southern Wesleyan. Singnoi shot an 80, 75 and 83 during the tournament. His 238 total round score put him in a tie for 48
th place. He was followed by De La Garza, who shot an 81, 76 and 86. De La Garza's total round score of 243 put him in 55
th place.
