The Warriors kept the game close as Brooke Henricks made a 3-pointer and Aneysa Williams put up a layup to make the score 8-8. Back-to-back 3-point shots allowed the Saints to pull ahead of the Warriors. Back-to-back layups by Tanayja Williams put Southern Wesleyan within seven points of Limestone.
A jump shot by Alexis Armstrong gave Limestone a 31-14 point advantage over the Warriors to kick-off the second quarter. Southern Wesleyan countered with back-to-back layups by Tanayja Williams and Denisha Hall to put them down 18-33.
