Men's Soccer Drops Tough Match on Road to Lincoln Memorial

Men's Soccer hit the road this evening for a non-conference match against Lincoln Memorial.  The Warriors dropped a hard fought affair 3-1.

SWU had five shots on goal and the Railsplitters posted seven, making the most of their shots in the win.  Miguel Uribe collected four saves during the 90 minutes of play. 

Michel Herszenhaut picked up the first goal of the match at the 23:52 mark and put SWU on top 1-0.  Sam Rowden added the assist on the goal.  It stayed 1-0 until the second half when LMU scored two goals within 20 minutes and posted the final goal at the 79:22 mark to finish the scoring at 3-1.

SWU will now play at home against Lees-McRae on Saturday with a 5pm start.  The loss to LMU drops SWU's overall record to 2-1 on the young campaign.
