MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Southern Wesleyan's Zach Moore was named to the Southern States Athletic Conference All-Conference in men's golf on Tuesday evening.
Moore was the NCCAA individual national champion in the fall and entered the SSAC Championship ranked 29th in the NAIA. He is ranked fourth in the SSAC with a 73.12 scoring average including a season-low 67 at the NCCAA National Tournament first round back in October.
Faulkner's Daniel Jansen was named Men's Golfer of the Year by the conference and Coastal Georgia's Mike Cook took home coach of the year honors.
Moore currently sits in a tie for 13th after 36 holes in the 54-hole SSAC Championship with a 149 (76-73). The Warriors are in a tie for fourth with Emmanuel, nine strokes back of qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament.
Final round play concludes this morning at Lagoon Park Golf Club in Montgomery.
