How It Happened
Ellie Adams led the Warriors in the Susan Rouse Invite. Adams finished in second place with a time of 20:46.11. Behind her, Elise Foster finished in third place with a time of 21:23.95. Foster was closely followed by Sierra Connor who took fourth with a time of 21:32.17. Freda Ruiz was the fourth Warrior to finish in the race as she took fifth place with a time of 21:59.98.
Saskia Heydenrych took sixth place in the race as she finished in 22:29.71. She was closely followed by Anna Maddalena and Lexie Ransom. Maddalena took eighth with a time of 22:53.48 and Ransom finished in ninth with a time of 23:17.52. Claire Walker finished in 13th with a time of 25:08.35. Sophie Chasteen wrapped up the field for the Warriors as she took 15th with a time of 26:14.26.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will travel to Huntsville, AL on September 25 to take part in the Twilight at John Hunt. They will then travel to Charlotte, NC to take part in the Royals XC Challenge hosted by Queens on October 9. The Warriors will travel to Spartanburg, SC to compete in the Upstate XC Invite on October 17.
