How It Happened

Sierra Connor led the Warriors in the 5K race as she took 53^rd place with a time of 18:36.3.  Right on her heels, Ellie Adams finished in 68^th with a time of 18:47.3.  Lexie Shenton was the next Warrior to finish as she took 102^nd place with a time of 19:15.2.  Just seven seconds behind Shenton was Elise Foster.  Foster finished in 110^th place with a time of 19:22.9.  Freda Ruiz finished in 156^th place with a time of 20:03.3.

Southern Wesleyan's next finisher was Anna Maddalena who took 207^th place with a time of 20:53.6.  Just a couple seconds behind her was Lexie Ransom.  Ransom finished in 211^th with a time of 21:03.2.  Sophie Chasteen took 252^nd place with a time of 22:45.1  Wrapping up the field for the Warriors was Claire Walker in 266^th place with a time of 23:29.8.

What's Next

The Warriors will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship on November 7 at 9 am.  They will then compete in the NCAA Regionals on November 21.
