Central, SC - Southern Wesleyan is excited to announce Merritt Smith as this week's Mug Shot Coffee Athlete of the Week.

Merritt Smith, a senior out of St. Petersburg, Florida, took 30th in the Bulldog Stampede on Saturday morning with a time of 23:59.79.  Her time was not only six seconds off her lifetime best in the 6K, but was also the fourth best performance in school history.
