Central, SC - Southern Wesleyan is excited to announce Michaela Andress as the Mug Shot Athlete of the Week.

In the Warriors opening tournament in Livingston, AL, Andress was an instrumental part in the Warriors' performance.  In the loss to West Alabama, she claimed 10 kills and 13 digs along with an impressive five aces.  During the Warriors' victory over Miles later that day, Andress led the team with 15 kills.  She also had 13 digs and another ace.  She was apart of two blocks and picked up four assists in the match.

Southern Wesleyan competed in another tri-match later in the week.  In the loss to Montevallo, she had seven kills and another 10 digs.  She picked up another double-double in the five set victory over Tusculum later that afternoon.  Andress had 10 kills and 15 digs.  She also had three assists, another ace and two blocks.

Throughout the week, the junior totaled 42 kills, 51 digs, eight assists, nine aces and five blocks.
