Northborough, MA – The IWLCA honored 588 student-athletes from 84 different institutions on the 2024-25 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. 

Southern Wesleyan was amoung the schools recognized as seniors Abbey Kovalcik and Lexi Richardson, and junior Fianna Steves were among those honored.  Richardson, graduated in May with a degree in Education, while Kovalcik is set to graduate this upcoming December with a degree in Exercise Science.  Junior Steves is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Along with the three indiviudals, the Warriors team as a whole was one of the 383 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA that the IWLCA named to the Academic Honor Squads for the 2024-25 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
