Winston-Salem, NC – Southern Wesleyan took several top spots at the Mondo College Invite on Saturday.

Track Events
60m Prelims: In the preliminaries of the 60 meters, senior Kyla Johnson finished in 29th place after she finished with a time of 8.43.
60m (Qualifying): In the qualifying rounds of the 60 meters, Cianna Laginestra led the team. Laginestra took 14th with a time of 8.40. She was followed by Amariah Davis who took 19th with a time of 8.44.
60mh: Senior TraVon Lay led the Warriors in the 60 meter hurdles as she took 19th with a time of 9.63.
200m: In the 200 meters, Alyse Davis led the Warriors as she took 27th with a time of 27.94. Cianna Laginestra and Amariah Davis were the next two to finish for Southern Wesleyan. Laginestra took 36th with a time of 28.38 and Davis took 43rd with a time of 28.65.
200m (Seeded): Senior Kyla Johnson took 12th in the 200 meter seeded race on Saturday as she finished with a time of 29.10.
400m: Makayla Wilson took third in the 400 meters on Saturday as she finished with a time of 1:05.15.
800m: Southern Wesleyan was led by Ava LaBrant as her time of 2:36.61 allowed her to take 18th. Finishing in 49th, Nicole Feagan crossed the finish line with a time of 3:17.72.
Mile: Junior Merritt Smith led the Warriors in the mile as she took 11th with a time of 5:36.73. Smith was followed Macey Morgan who took 20th with a time of 5:49.19. Kristi Gallagher took 29th with a time of 6:01.84. She was followed by Suzie Stutz and Janey Dixon. Stutz took 40th with a time of 6:18.87 and Dixon claimed 44th with a time of 6:31.29.
3000m: In the 3000m, Divinity Ervin finished in 22nd with a time of 12:00.53.
4x4oo Meter Relay: The Warriors team of TraVon Lay, Nicole Feagan, Alyse Davis and Amariah Davis took 14th in the relay as they finished with a time of 4:41.94.
Field Events
Pole Vault: In the pole vault, Ava LaBrant took fourth place as she cleared a height of 3.10 meters.
Shot Put: Alexandria Luther took 26th in the shot put as she threw a distance of 9.13 meters.
Weight Throw: Southern Wesleyan as lead by Alexandria Luther in the weight throw as she threw a distance of 11.21 meters.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will travel to Lynchburg, VA on January 25-26 as they compete in Liberty University's Brant Tolsma Invitational. They will then go back to Winston-Salem, NC on February 7-8 to compete in the Camel City Splits.
