How It Happened
Macey Morgan led the Warriors in the Eye Opener on Friday. The senior out of Simpsonville, SC finished in 58th as she crossed the finish line with a time of 20:10.02. She was followed by teammate Merritt Smith who's time of 20:47.95 allowed her to finish in 74th. Ava LaBrant took 84th with a time of 21:06.91.
Taking 94th is sophomore Divinity Ervin. Ervin finished with a time of 21:33.06. She was followed by Kristi Gallagher who claimed 107th after finishing with a time of 22:24.61. In her first appearance with the Warriors, Susie Stutz took 119th place with a time of 23:05.72.
Senior Janey Dixon took 126th place with a time of 23:31.09. Dixon was followed closely by freshman Elena Juarez. Juarez took 128th with a time of 23:38.64. Wrapping up the field for the Warriors is Nicole Feagan who took 140th place with a time of 24:41.27.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will next travel to Greenville, SC on September 14 as they take part in the Furman Invite. They will then take part in the FSU Pre-Regional on September 27 in Tallahassee, FL. On October 11, the Warriors will travel to Charlotte, SC to take part in Queens University of Charlotte's Royals XC Challenge.
