How It Happened
Macey Morgan led the Warriors at the Furman Invitational as her time of 24:29.6 put her in 60th place over all. She was closely followed by teammate Ava LaBrant. LaBrant finished with a time of 25:57.9 to take 75th place. Kristi Gallegher was the third Warrior to cross the finish line as she took 81st with a time of 26:28.0.
Finishing in 94th was senior Janey Dixon who finished with a time of 27:55.9. Elena Juarez and Susie Stutz were the next two Warriors to finish. Juarez took 101st with a time of 28:50.4 and Stutz finished in 102nd with a time of 29:22.2.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will travel to Tallahassee, FL on September 27 to take part in the FSU Pre-Regional. They will then travel up to Charlotte, NC to take part in Queens University of Charlotte's Royals XC Challenge on October 11. The Warriors will compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship on October 26.
