Track Results
100m: Dominic Gonzalez led the Warriors in the 100 meters as he took 27th with a time of 11.54. Gonzalez was followed by Solomon Pitts who took 28th with a time of 11.55.
200m: In the 200 meters, Jaden Warner finished in 18th with a time of 22.13. Warner was followed by freshman Dominic Gonzalez who finished in 24th with a time of 23.27.
400m: Nate Hill finished just shy of the top ten in the 400 meters. Hill's time of 49.99 allowed him to take 11th. Jaden Warner and Aziah Gaskin were the next two Warriors to finish. Warner took 16th with a time of 50.96 and Gaskin took 17th with a time of 51.52.
800m: In the preliminaries of the 800 meter run, Ethan Marchman took first place with a time of 1:57.41 to advance to finals. Behind him, Brooks Hovis finished in 17th with a time of 2:01.72. In the finals, Ethan Marchman took fifth place with a time of 1:55.98.
1500m: The Warriors were led by Grady Clark in the 1500 meter run. In the preliminaries, Clark finished with a time of 4:07.83 to take eighth and advance to the finals. Landon Mayfield took 20th with a time of 4:21.62. In the finals of the 1500 meter run, Grady Clark took 10th with a time of 4:08.42.
5000m: Ronan O'Neill led the Warriors in the 5000 meter run as his time of 15.02.08 allowed him to take second place and receive All-Conference honors. He was followed by teammate Drew Jones who took 16th with a time of 15:57.09. Thomas Macagg wrapped up the field for the Warriors as he took 31st with a time of 17.29.87.
10000m: Finishing just seconds behind the first place finisher, Ronan O'Neill took second place with a time of 31.18.86 and give him his second set of All-Conference honors in the championship. Thomas Macagg was the next Warrior to cross the finish line as his time of 34:38.16 allowed him to take 14th.
400mh: Freshman Elijah Powell took 18th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.76.
3000m Steeplechase: Drew Jones broke the school record in the steeplechase as his time of 9:50.63 allowed him to finish in sixth place.
4x100m Relay: Southern Wesleyan's relay team of Aziah Gaskin, Jaden Warner, Dominic Gonzalez and Solomon Pitts took fifth place with a time of 43.04.
4x400m Relay: In the 4x400 meter relay, Southern Wesleyan's team of Jaden Warner, Nate Hill, Grady Clark and Ethan Marchman took sixth place with a time of 3:20.68.
Field Results
Pole Vault: In the pole vault, Evan Motes finished in fourth place after vaulting a height of 4.03m.
Long Jump: Sam Woods took 22nd with a distance of 6.05m cleared. He was followed by Valante Walker who jumped 5.45m to take 25th.
Triple Jump: The Warriors were led by Sam Woods in the triple jump with a jump of 12.38m to take 20th. Behind Woods, Valante Walker took 21st with a jump of 12.36m.
Discus: Mason Griffiths led the Warriors in the discus throw as he threw a distance of 39.69m. Griffiths was followed by Braden Shoemaker. Shoemaker took 20th with a throw of 30.58m.
Javelin: In his first season competing in javelin, Evan Motes took second to earn All-Conference honors with a throw of 51.20m. Braden Shoemaker and Mason Griffiths were the next two Warriors to finish. Shoemaker also finished in the top ten as his throw of 47.93m allowed him to take sixth. Griffiths finished in 16th after his throw of 42.81m.
