Track Results

100m: Jaden Warner led the Warriors in the 100 meters.  His time of 11.08 allowed him to finish in 10^th place.  Behind Warner were Dominic Gonzalez and Solomon Pitts.  Gonzalez took 25^th with a time of 11.49 and Pitts took 26^th with a time of 11.52.  Bertin Manzi wrapped up the field for the Warriors as his time of 12.21 allowed him to finish in 34^th.

200m: In the 200 meters, Jaden Warner finished in 17^th with a time of 22.91.  Aziah Gaskin was the next Warrior to finish as his time of 23.27 put him in 29^th.  Right behind Gaskin was Dominic Gonzalez who finished in 30^th with a time of 23.38.  Solomon Pitts hit a personal record as he finished in 35^th with a time of 23.63.  Bertin Manzi took 54^th with a time of 25.22.

400m: Southern Wesleyan was led by freshman Nate Hill in the 400 meters.  Hill hit a new personal record as he finished in fifth with a time of 49.50.

400mh: Freshman Elijah Powell finished just shy of the top 10 as his time of 1:03.99 put him in 11^th place.

800m: In the 800 meters, Ethan Marchman hit a new personal record with a time of 1:54.65 to put him in second place.  Grady Clark took 11^th with a time of 1:59.92.

Mile: Malcolm Kibiwot took 17^th with a time of 4:52.58.

Elite Mile: Ronan O'Neill blew the school record out of the water over the weekend in the elite mile.  O'Neill's took 10^th with a time of 4:17.24, breaking a ten year old school record by fifteen seconds.

3000m Steeple: The Warriors were led by Drew Jones in the steeplechase as he took fourth with a time of 10:12.49.

5000m: Thomas Macagg led the Warriors in the 5000 meters as he finished in the top 10 with a time of 16:21.35 as he took ninth.  Landon Mayfield finished in 15^th with a time of 17:00.33.

4x400m Relay: The Warriors had two teams compete in the 4x400 meter relay.  The team of Aziah Gaskin, Ethan Marchman, Grady Clark and Ethan Marchman took fifth place with a time of 3:20.87.  Behind them, the B team took 10^th with a time of 3:37.44.

4x100m Relay: In the 4x100m relay, the Warriors team of Solomon Pitts, Aziah Gaskin, Dominic Gonzalez and Jaden Warner in fourth with a time of 43.46.

Field Results

Discus: In the discus, Mason Griffiths took 14^th with a throw of 37.03m.

Javelin: Freshman Braden Shoemaker took seventh with a throw of 45.96m.  Shoemaker was followed by Mason Griffiths who took 16^th with a throw of 36.26m.

Long Jump: The Warriors were led by Sam Woods in the long jump as he took eighth with a jump of 6.32m.  Valante Walker finished in 24^th with a jump of 5.47m.

Triple Jump: Senior Valante Walker led the Warriors in the triple jump as he cleared a distance of 12.99m to take seventh place.  Sam Woods was the next Warrior to finish.  Woods took 10^th place with a distance of 12.46m.

What's Next

Southern Wesleyan will travel to Cullowhee, NC on April 19-20 to take part in the Western Carolina Invitational.  They will then travel to Myrtle Beach, SC to take part in the Conference Carolinas outdoor Championship on April 26-27.
