Winston Salem, NC - The JDL College Team Challenge was filled with intensity on February 8 as the Warriors claimed top slots and set new school records in both the 800 meters and the mile.

Track Results
60m:Â Dominic Gonzalez finished 21st after running a time of 7.34 and, in his first race of the season, Solomon Pitts finished closely behind in 23rd after running a time of 7.35.
200m: In the 200 meters, Jaden Warner finished 14th after running a time of 23.56. Behind him, freshman Dominic Gonzalez finished 22nd after running 24.10.Â
400m:Â Jaden Warner finished 2nd after running a time of 51.86 and Elijah Powell finished 23rd after running a time of 56.55Â
800m: Ethan Marchman first took the school record with a time of 1:57.61 and then minutes later, that same record was broken by Drew Jones with a time of 1:57.56. Jones ended up not only taking the school record, but finishing in 3rd place. Marchman's time allowed him to take 4th place. Ronan O'Neill finished 21st after running a time of 2:04.49.
Mile: Leading the whole pack in the mile, Ronan O'Neill took first place after running a time of 4:21.74. He was followed by Grady Clark in 3rd after running a time of 4:24.35 and Landon Mayfield finished 21st after running a time of 4:51.03.
3000m: In the 3000 meters, Thomas Macagg finished in 7th with a time of 9:07.83. Macagg was followed by Malcolm Kibiwot in 23rd with a time of 9:36.16.
4x400 Meter Relay: In the 4x400 meter relay, the team of Ethan Marchman, Nate Hill, Grady Clark and Jaden Warner finished in 1st with a time of 3:26.14.

Field Results
Triple Jump: Valante Walker led the Warriors in the triple jump as he finished 3rd after a jump of 13.25m (43-05.75). Walker was followed by Sam Woods finished 9th after a jump of 11.76m (38-07.00).
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will wrap up the Indoor Track and Field season at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championship on February 18-19. The Outdoor Track and Field season will open up on March 2.
