How It Happened
Sophomore Ronan O'Neill led the Warriors in the 8K as he finished in 35th place with a time of 25:37.5. Behind him, Thomas Macagg finished in 119th place as he claimed a time of 26:45.1. Grady Clark and Drew Jones were the next two Warriors to finish in the FSU Invite. In his freshman cross country season with the Warriors, Clark took 132nd place with a time of 26:53.4. Jones was right on Clark's heels as he finished in 134th place with a time of 26:57.4.
Grayson Gillespie was the next Warrior to finish as his time of 28:03.2 allowed him to take 205th place. He was followed by fellow sophomore Landon Mayfield in 213th place with a time of 28:14.4. Nate Hill took 243rd place with a time of 28:43.2. Southern Wesleyan's field was wrapped up by Josue Avendano and Andrew Davis. Avendano finished in 262nd place as he claimed a time of 29:08.0. Davis was the final Warrior to finish as his time of 30:42.0 put him in 292nd place.
What's Next
The Warriors will next travel to Charlotte, NC on October 6 to take part in the Queens University of Charlotte's Royal Challenge. Southern Wesleyan will compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship on October 21.
