Ronan O'Neill was the highest D2 finisher at the YHC Cross Country Invitational. His time of 18:34.4 was just four seconds behind first place finisher Adam Hessler of UNC-Asheville. O'Neill's time put him in second place. He was followed by sophomore
Grady Clark in 23
rd with a time of 19:30.2. Coming in 25

Drew Jones who finished with a time of 19:33.8.

Thomas Macagg finished with a time of 20:00.8.
Josue Avendano took 46
th as he finished with a time of 20:59.0. The next Warrior to finish was freshman
Nate Hill. Hill's time of 21.01.2 allowed him to take 47
th. He was followed by
Grayson Gillespie in 55
th with a time of 21:41.6.
John Locke finished in 58
th with a time of 22.07.2. Locke was followed by
Andrew Davis. Davis finished with a time of 22.10.8 to put him in 59

Landon Mayfield was the next Warrior to finish as his time of 23:56.5 put him in 64
th. Right on his heels,
Jesse Sauve took 65
th with a time of 23:57.7.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will travel down the road to Greenville, SC on September 16 as they take part in the Furman Invitational hosted by Furman University. They will then travel to Tallahassee, FL to take part in Florida State's FSU Invite on September 29. The Warriors will wrap up the regular season in Charlotte, NC as they take part in the Royal Challenge hosted by Queens University.
