Charlotte, NC - The Warriors placed well in the Queens City Invite. With an average race time of 27:23.91, the Warrior men placed 4th with a score of 104. With an average race time of 21:14.20 10, the women's team placed 3rd with a score of 108.

Men's Results
Ronan O'Neill placed 4th after running a time of 25:52. Thomas Macagg placed 10th after running 26:49. Placing 18th, freshman Drew Jones ran a time of 27:17. Closely behind, Jesse Sauve placed 35th after running 28:13. In 44th place, Grayson Gillespie ran a time of 28:50. Josue Avendano placed 54th after running 29:16 and, in 67th place, Landon Mayfield ran a time 29:56.
Women's Results
Finishing 8th for the Warriors was freshman Merritt Smith with a time of 20:06. Abbey Frock placed 10th after running a 20:20. In 31st place was sophomore Janey Dixon after she ran a time of 21:37. Nicole Feagan placed 36th after she ran a time of 21:52. Finishing 40th was Gisselle Lopez after she ran a time of 22:17. Wrapping up the field for the Warriors, Braelyn Elrod placed 73rd with a time of 25:43 and Caroline Lamb finished 79th with a time of 26:00.
What's Next
The Warriors will travel to Tallahassee, Florida to compete at Florida State University on October 7. They will then travel to Newberry, SC to compete at Newberry College on October 22. Southern Wesleyan will compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship in Spartanburg, SC on November 5.
