How It Happened

Macey Morgan led the Warriors at the Newberry Invitational as she took sixth in the 5K with a time of 19:39.9.  She was closely followed by teammate Abbey Frock.  Frock finished in eighth with a time of 19:59.8.  Merritt Smith took 12^th with a time of 20:09.0.

Nicole Feagan took 33^rd in the 5K as she finished with a time of 21:22.5.  Feagan was followed by Janey Dixon with a time of 21:33.9 to put her 39^th place.  Gisselle Lopez followed her with a time of 23:18.9 to put her in 65^th place.  Caroline Lamb and Braelyn Elrod wrapped up the field for the Warriors.  Lamb took 87^th with a time of 25:34.5 and Elrod finished in 95^th with a time of 27:48.7.

Southern Wesleyan will next compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship on November 5.
