How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan was led by senior Peyton Shelton in the Conference Carolinas Championship on Saturday morning.  Shelton averaged a 5:30.6 mile as he finished in 35^th with a time of 27:23.2.  He was followed by Konnor Palacios.  Palacios averaged a 5:38.7 mile while finishing in 53^rd with a time of 28:03.3.  Thomas Macagg was the next Warrior to finish as he took 62^nd with a time of 28:37.6. 

Jesse Sauve and Dane Dickson were the next to finish.  Sauve took 85^th with a time of 29:49.2 while Dickson followed in 97^th with a time of 30:21.4.  Dickson was closely followed by Josue Avendano in 98^th with a time of 30:31.5 and Ludcheel Colas in 99^th with a time of 30:47.2.  Casey Frock took 100^th with a time of 30:48.9.  Andrew Davis finished in 103^rd with a time of 31:16.1.
