How It Happened

Southern Wesleyan took first place in the first race of the year. Freshman Macey Morgan led the Warriors, taking first place with a time of 19:37.8. She was followed by fellow freshman Sydney Palmer in second place with a time of 20:45.8.

In fourth place, Madison Lewellen punched in a time of 21:07.7 and she was followed by Haley Morgan with a time of 21:10.9 to take fifth place. Kyra Hood took 11th with a time of 21:49.7 and Abbey Frock placed just behind her with a time of 22:07.0 to claim 14th place.
