Columbia, SC – Southern Wesleyan competed in the Gamecock Inaugural on Friday and Saturday.

Track Results
300 Meters : Dymitric Ray led the pack in the 300 meters, taking 7th with a time of 35.11. He was followed by Jannai Maxwell in 12th place with a time of 36.19. Johnny Bogert followed Maxwell in 28th place with a time of 39.30.
400 Meters : In the 400 meters, sophomore Thomas Williams led the Warriors in 26th place with a time of 52.06. He was followed by Mychael Lipscomb in 33rd place with a time of 52.61. Camden Davis finished 55th place with a time of 55.26 and Kaleb Jackson finished 58th with a time of 55.81.
800 Meters : Jacob Harris led the pack in the 800 meters, taking 35th with a time of 2:03.94. Harris was followed by Konner Palacios in 46th place with a time of 2:06.65. David Lucas finished in 50th place with a time of 2:07.65.
Mile : Freshman Peyton Shelton led the team in the mile with a 26th place finish and a time of 4:36.51. In 54th place, David Lucas finished with a time of 4:53.84. He was followed by Jacob Harris with a time of 5:03.01 in 60th place.
3000 Meters : Konner Palacios placed 43rd in the 3000 meter race with a time of 11:18.97.
4x400 Relay : Southern Wesleyan finished 3rd in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:25.35. This team included Dymitric Ray, Shonquez Caldwell, Mychael Lipscomb, and Thomas Williams.
Field Results
Triple Jump : Javon Barmore took 10th place with a distance of 13.50 meters.
Weight Throw : Keuntrai Robinson led the Warriors with a distance of 13.73 meters and took 9th place. Robinson was followed by Christian Swindle in 20th place with a distance of 11.95 meters.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will travel back to the University of South Carolina to compete in the Carolina Challenge on February 1 and 2. They will then travel to Birmingham, AL to compete in the Samford Invite on February 8 and 9.
