How It Happened
Freshman Elijah Stewart led the Warriors in their third race of the year. Stewart took 41st with a time of 28:21.0. He was followed by teammate Peyton Shelton in 54th place with a time of 29:24.7.
Senior Mason Sims came crossed the finish line in 75th place with a time of 30:50.0. Sims was followed by Konner Palacios in 81st with a time of 31:15.1.
Jacob Harris was the next Warrior to cross the finish line. Harris came in with a time of 32:58.5 to put him in 93rd place. Austin Modica took 95 with a time of 33:30.5.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will next travel to Charlotte, NC to take part in the Royals XC Challenge hosted by Queens on October 12. They will then compete in the Bob Jones Invite in Greenville, SC on October 27.
