How It Happened
Southern Wesleyan took fifth place in the Conference Carolinas Championship. Peyton Shelton led the pack, taking 15th place with a time of 26:46.9 to earn a place on the All-Conference Third Team. Shelton was followed by Elijah Stewart. Stewart took 22nd place with a time of 27:29.8.
In 41st place, Konner Palacios crossed the finish line with a time of 28:38.8. Following Palacios, Mason Sims took 55th place with a time of 29:26.6. Jacob Harris finished in 57th place with a time of 29:36.4. Josiah Turner and Camden Davis wrapped up the field for the Warriors. Turner too 74th place with a time of 32:08.1 and Davis took 77th place with a time of 33:20.4.
