How It Happened:
In the first cross country meet of the season, Southern Wesleyan finished in fourth place. Senior Jon Gibbon led the pack to take twenty-second with a time of 18:29.86. He was closely followed by freshman Michael Spearman in twenty-fourth with a time of 18:40.20. Freshman Konner Palacios was the next Warrior across the line coming in 30th with a time of 18:56.16. Mason Sims took 35th with a time of 19:45.72 and Kiernan Gordon took 39th with a time of 20:42.23. Senior Brennan Cameli and freshman Brandon Espinosa rounded up the pack to take 41st and 44th place. Cameli finished with a time of 21:01.50 and Espinosa finished with a time of 23:36.93.
What's Next
Southern Wesleyan will host a cross country race on Friday, September 15 at 5 p.m. The Warriors will then travel to Queens University to take part in the Royal Challenge on September 29.
