Box Score 2 Due West, S.C. – Southern Wesleyan fell to Erskine College in their least regular season series of the year. The Warriors fell 4-0 in game one and 10-5 in game two.
In game one, six different Warriors posted a single hit throughout the game. Lizzie Fela hit the only double of the game. Natalie Johnson started for the Warriors and pitched three innings before relief pitcher Lucy Wolff came in and pitched the remaining four innings.
Shelby Stroud led the Warriors in hits for game two giving the Warriors two of their seven hits. Sara Sweatt hit a double, and Lizzie Fela hit her twelfth home run of the season during the game. Fela led in RBI's having two of the four RBI's from the Warriors. Sweatt, Tiffany Cathey, Amber Belk and Michaela Wickham all hit sacrifice bunts during the game with Sweatt posting two in the last game of the season. Hunter Hoskins started game two, posting two strikeouts

How It Happened
Game One:
The Flying Fleet were the first to strike in Saturdays doubleheader when they put themselves on the board in the bottom of the second inning after having the first run of the game. They would once again strike in the bottom of the third inning after a 2 run-homerun and a single that sent a player home to put the Flying Fleet at a 4-0 lead over the Warriors which would ultimately be the final score of game one.
Game Two:
The Warriors were quick to strike in the first inning of game two. Sara Sweatt led off for the Warriors and hit a double, putting her on second with Tiffany Cathey up to bat. Cathey reached first on a throwing error made by the pitcher and advanced to third on the error, sending Sweatt home. Lizzie Fela came to bat next and hit her twelfth homerun of the season to bring Cathey and herself home. Kali Berrigan came to bat next and was walked. Amber Belk would later come up bat and hit a sacrifice bunt to advance Berrigan to second with Shelby Stroud next to bat. Stroud hit a single up the middle deep enough to bring Berrigan home and put the Warriors up 4-0 in the first inning.
The Flying Fleet retaliated in the bottom of the first to put them behind only 4-2. They went on to take a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the third inning. Erskine extended their lead in the bottom of the fourth to 9-4 when two singles and a ground out sent four Flying Fleet across home plate.
The Warriors would have their last run in the top of the sixth. Shelby Stroud singled to left center to lead off. Gibby Donald came in to pinch run for her. With one on, Becca White hit a single and then Michaela Wickham singled to center field to bring Donald home and make the score 9-5. The Flying Fleet were not done, loading the bases and then bringing their final run home in the bottom of the six inning to win game two 10-5.
