Box Score 2 Tigerville, S.C. – Warriors fall to Crusaders in doubleheader action on Saturday afternoon. North Greenville took the first game 12-1 and the second game 22-0.
Southern Wesleyan recorded four hits in the loss in game one of the Saturday doubleheader. Quinton Bent led the Warriors with two hits. DiMarkus Sanders hit a double while Trevor Walker hit his first home run of the season to score the lone run for Southern Wesleyan. JJ Julian started game one for the Warriors and went three innings while allowing nine hits and 10 runs. Julian faced 22 batters and threw 98 pitches while getting six strikeouts.
In game two, Southern Wesleyan record six hits. Jason Moldenhauer led the team with two hits, including a double. Josh Antwine started the game for the Warriors and went five innings and allowed eight hits and eight runs while striking out five batters. Antwine faced 26 batters and threw 98 pitches with 62 strikes.

How It Happened
Game One
North Greenville struck first in game one of the double header on Saturday afternoon. The Crusaders' Scolamir walked to lead-off the game and then stole second to get into scoring position. Josh Black followed with a walk to take first base and put runners at first and second. Maggio grounded out, but both runners were able to advance. A double by Frazier allowed the two runners to come home, and then a single by Grant brought Frazier to third base. Grant and Frazier each stole a base to give the Crusaders their last run of the inning. The Crusaders ended the inning with a 3-0 lead over the Warriors.
The Crusaders continued their run, scoring six runs in the bottom of the second and another run in the bottom of the third before the Warriors could put anything on the board. In the top of the fourth inning with one out, Trevor Walker homered to right field to bring the Warriors to 10-1 behind the Crusaders.
Southern Wesleyan held the Crusaders scoreless in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Crusaders scored two more runs on a two run home run by Meadows down the right field line. North Greenville won game one of the double header 12-1.
Game Two
Southern Wesleyan could not put runs on the board in a high offensive game for the North Greenville Crusaders. The Crusaders struck first in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring seven runs. North Greenville kept the Warriors scoreless while they continue to produce runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings to win the final game of the three game series 22-0.
What's Next
The Warriors will next travel to North Georgia on March 1 at 4 pm. Southern Wesleyan will then return to the Con on March 3 and 4 to take on Erskine in a three game series against the Flying Fleet in Conference Carolinas action.
