How It Happened
Hanan Balawi led the Warriors in the race on Saturday morning. Balawi finished in 21st with a time of 20:53.68. She was closely followed by senior Alana Grant to take 23rd with a time of 21:04.29. A fraction of a second behind grant came freshman Hayley Singletary. Singletary took 25th with a time of 21:05.76.
Kyra Hood took 28th with a time of 21:20.77. Hood was followed by Sarah Reeves. Reeves took 36th with a time of 21:57.89. Sarah Cash and Dakota Gillispie came in alongside of each other to take 49th and 50th place. Cash finished with a time of 23:45.08 and Gillispie finished with a time of 23:52.36. Kaitlyn Phillippo took 55th with a time of 25:40.16.
