Greenville, S.C. – Southern Wesleyan became the NCCAA South Region Champions on Saturday morning with several runners achieving personal best times.

How It Happened

Alana Grant led the team in the race, finishing in fourth with a time of 19:30.1.  Grant was followed by freshman Kyra Hood in sixth with a time of 20:04.2.  Hayley Singletary took 11^th with a time of 20:18.9.  Seconds behind her, Hanan Balawi crossed the finish line in 12^th with a time of 20:36.4.

Balawi was followed by Sarah Reeves.  Reeves crossed the line in 15^th with a time of 20:45.7.  Senior Sarah Cash came in in 30^th place with a time of 21:44.9.  She was followed by Kaitlyn Philippo in 43^rd with a time of 22:45.2.  Dakota Gillespie took 44^th with a time of 22:58.8.
