Box Score GREENVILLE, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan allowed Bob Jones to attempt 20 shots in its 2-0 loss.
The Bruins (1-0) attempted 12 shots in the first half with five of them on goal. The Warriors (0-1) only attempted two shots in the first half.
In the second half, Bob Jones got on the board in the 46th minute and added to their lead in the 89th minute with their second goal of the night. Southern Wesleyan attempted six shots in the second half, but only two of them were on goal.
Warriors goalie Courtney McNeill recorded ten saves and Bruins goalie Kristen Haertlein tallied four saves.
Southern Wesleyan next travels to Anderson for a 4:30 p.m. contest.
