Box Score AIKEN, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan left 11 runners on base in its 11-2 loss to USC-Aiken to close out the regular season.
The Warriors (16-36) got on the board first as Luke Hostetler singled to score Matt Costa in the top of the second inning. The Pacers (36-14) tied the game in the bottom of the second as they scored one run. They gained the lead in the bottom of the third as they scored another run. Southern Wesleyan tied the game again in the top of the fifth as Brad Bisko drove in Avery Mahon with a single. USC-Aiken regained the lead for good in the bottom of the fifth as they scored nine consecutive runs. The Warriors left four runners on base in the last four innings of the game.
Costa went 2-for-4 with one run and a triple. Hostetler batted 1-for-4 with one RBI. Mahon went 1-for-5 with one run.
J.J. Julian (2-5) pitched 5.2 innings, allowed six runs off of seven hits, and had seven strikeouts.
