Warriors Fall to Tornado

CENTRAL, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan allowed 15 hits in its 8-2 loss to King.

The Tornado (17-29, 9-16 CC) scored three runs in the top of the second inning, one run in the third, one run in the fourth, and one run in the sixth for a 6-0 lead. The Warriors (15-31, 3-22 CC) scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth as Avery Mahon scored off of an error by the second baseman and Drew Carson scored off of a fielder's choice by Brad Bisko. King added two more runs in the top of the seventh. They allowed one hit in the last two innings to clinch the victory.

Bisko went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Mahon batted 1-for-4 with one run. Conner Ewing went 1-for-4 with one RBI and a double.

The Warriors wrap up their three-game series against King tomorrow with a 1 p.m. doubleheader. Tomorrow is the final Kid's Day of the season and will also be ULF Awareness Day.
