Box Score CENTRAL, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan left 11 runners on base in its 8-1 loss to North Greenville.
The Crusaders (12-6, 4-0 CC) scored first as they put up one run in the top of the fourth inning. The Warriors (8-9, 0-4 CC) tied the game in the bottom of the fourth as Trevor Walker singled to right field to drive in Luke Hostetler. North Greenville added four runs in the top of the sixth and three runs in the top of the ninth to give themselves a seven run lead. Southern Wesleyan was able to put two runners on base in the bottom of the ninth, but had three players strikeout to seal the win for the Crusaders.
J.J. Julian (1-2) pitched 5.1 innings, allowed two earned runs off of six hits, and had four strikeouts.
The Warriors wrap up their three-game series against North Greenville tomorrow March 5 with a doubleheader that starts at 12 p.m.
