CENTRAL, S.C.- Southern Wesleyan scored runs in four different innings in its 9-0 win against Anderson.

The Warriors (11-21) scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and three runs in the bottom of the second for a 7-0 lead. They added another run in the bottom of the fourth as Conner Ewing singled to drive in John Garrett to stretch the lead to eight runs. Southern Wesleyan stretched the lead to nine runs with another run in the bottom of the eighth as Justin Brew singled to score Devin Patrick. The Trojans (13-20) had nine hits, but left ten runners on base and also had two errors.

Matt Costa went 3-for-5 with two RBIs, one run, and one walk. Brew batted 2-for-4 with two RBIs, one run, and one walk. Brad Bisko went 2-for-5 with one RBI and one run.

Andrew Howard (3-2) pitched six innings, allowed eight hits, and had five strikeouts.

The Warriors next travel to Erskine for a three-game series April 1-2 with the first game starting at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
