Warriors Lose to Limestone

Limestone took an early lead that the Warriors were unable to overcome.

It was a tough day for the Warriors, as Limestone was able to get around the SWU defense and make 24 shots on goal, scoring 6.  The Warriors took 9 shots on goal, and finally their hard work paid off when Rachel Curtis scored the lone Warrior goal.  The ending score was 6-1 Limestone.  The win gives Limestone a 9-1 year record and makes them 7-0 in Conference Carolina play.  The Warriors are now 2-9 and 0-5 in the conference.

Courtney McNeil contributed with 6 saves in the game.  The lone goal by Curtis was her sixth goal of the season.

The Warriors will return next Wednesday, October 12 at 5 p.m. against Erskine.  They will then have two away games before returning home for Southern Wesleyan University's Homecoming weekend on October 22 where they will take on the North Greenville Crusaders at 1 p.m.
