CENTRAL, S.C. - The Southern Wesleyan women's soccer team fell 4-0 on Friday night at Childs Field. With the loss, the Warriors fall to 1-2 on the young season.
The Wolves scored their first goal less than four minutes into the game, off the foot of Kyla Wright-Marshall. About 30 minutes in, West Georgia added another to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Out of the half, WGU tacked on two more goals by Kelly Geary and Maike Beule.
Warriors goalkeeper Courtney McNeill racked up 12 saves in the loss. The Warriors return to action Wednesday, Sept. 16 when they host King at at 5 p.m.
