Game One
Francis Marion pounded out 26 hits and scored 18 times to even the series at 1-1 with an 18-6 in Saturday's first game.

The Warriors took an early 2-0 lead in the first as two runs scored on a wild play. Daniel Williams reached on a fielder's choice and Josh Shimp was forced out at second. The throw from second to try and turn two was bad and Williams took off for second. Michael Hyman and Jason Moldenhauer both scored as Williams was thrown out at second.

Neither team was able to do much in the first three frames as Tyler Rio allowed just one hit and Santak gave up just two. In the fourth both sides were able to push across a run.

FMU scored on a fielder's choice from Shuler Ward as J.D. Crowe scored. The Warriors got the run back in the bottom half as Daniel Williams tripled with one out. Johnny Ponder's two-out single to right plated the Warriors' first run.

In the fifth the Patriots pushed across four runs, only two earned, with four hits and two SWU errors. The Warriors loaded the bases in the sixth but couldn't push across a run. They left two on in the seventh.

Santak picked up the win (1-0) and Cody Dix came on in the seventh with two on to earn the save. Rio took the loss to fall to 0-1. Rio struck out four and gave up eight hits in six innings of work.
