HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - The Southern Wesleyan women's cross country team recorded a 19th place finish in a field of 28 at the Sand Shark invitational held Oct.  24. The Warriors averaged a team time of 21:33 in the 5K. 

Alana Grant was the top runner for the Warriors as the sophomore posted a time of 19:54, good enough for 50th place. Michelle Last came in 99th place with a time of 21:10, while Kira Emmett was just behind with a time of 21:18 (102nd place). Sarah Cash finished the course in 22:03 (121st place). Freshman Becky Tarone finished No. 150 with a time of 23:20. Ashley Rhodes (160th) recored a time of 23:57 and Ann-Marie Martin finished at 24 minutes even. 

The women's team concludes the fall regular season on Saturday, Oct. 31 in the Toccoa Falls Invitational in Toccoa Falls, Ga.
