Warriors Fall at North Greenville Friday Night

TIGERVILLE, S.C. - The Southern Wesleyan women's soccer team came up short on Friday night at North Greenville as the Crusaders emerged a 3-0 victor. Southern Wesleyan is 2-12 on the season and 0-9 in Conference Carolinas and North Greenville is now 8-6 on the year and 4-5 in conference play. 

The Crusaders netted two first half goals as Lindsay Tuten and Lauren Prevett both scored off assists from teammate Alex Pagliaro. Tuten added another goal in the 58th minute of play to extend the lead to 3-0. 

North Greenville took 17 shots on the night while Southern Wesleyan tallied 12. The Warriors earned two corner kicks while the Crusaders didn't have any in the game. Warrior goalkeeper Courtney McNeill recorded nine saves in the loss. 

Southern Wesleyan returns to the field Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Erskine at 5 p.m.
