Box Score MARIETTA, Ga. – Kiara Coleman's double-double wasn't enough for Southern Wesleyan as the Warriors fell 63-56 to Southern Poly State in Southern States Athletic Conference play on Thursday night.

SWU (4-9, 2-5 SSAC) gained the lead in the second half, pushing the margin to six with 9:52 to play. That capped a 16-4 for the Warriors.
After holding the lead for over eight minutes the Hornets re-took the lead for good in the midst of a 10-0 run that flipped a five point deficit into a five point lead.

"This is a tough loss for us," said head coach John Davis. "We have to want to finish games out and learn to execute both ends of the floor, instead of playing not to lose the game. We will work hard to fix this."
The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, heading to Brenau University for another SSAC contest at 2 p.m.
