Warriors Drop 2-0 Decision to Mobile

CENTRAL, S.C. – Southern Wesleyan women's soccer couldn't keep pace with Mobile on Saturday night, falling 2-0 in SSAC play.

  
The Warriors (2-7-1, 0-4-0 SSAC) managed just one shot on the day as the Rams (5-5-1, 3-1-0 SSAC) scored early to take control.  Katie Compton netted the game's first goal in the 18th minute followed by Madison Kindzierski's goal in the 54th.

 
The Rams were able to get off 18 shots, putting half of those on target.  Rebecca Wynne and Gillian McMahon each played a half for the Rams in the shutout effort.  Krista Anonie made seven stop for the Warriors.


SWU will head to Tennessee next week to take on two SSAC-newcomers in Martin Methodist and Bethel (Tenn.).
