Box Score MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Southern Wesleyan women's soccer fell 2-0 on the road against Bethel (Tenn.) University on Saturday. It was the fourth straight 2-0 loss for the Warriors.
After a slow start in the first half where the Warriors (2-9-1, 0-6 SSAC) surrendered two goals. Krista Anonie made five saves in goal for the Warriors while her counterpart, Savana Smothers, also made five stops for Bethel (3-6, 2-3 SSAC).
SWU took four shots in each half while the Lady Wildcats took nine in the first half and four more after halftime.
SWU will have a week off before taking on Emmanuel in the Lil' Bronze Peach on Oct. 19 at Emmanuel.
