Central, SC - Southern Wesleyan is excited to announce Amberly Way of the Softball team as this week's Mug Shot Coffee Athlete of the Week.

Throughout the week, Way went 5-15 at the plate and picked up three home runs and a double while driving in five RBIs.  She walked five times and came in to score four runs for the Warriors.

The Warriors' third basemen hit two home runs against Shorter earlier in the week.  She totaled five RBIs as the Warriors split the series against the Hawks.

Against the Hawks of Chowan on Friday, Way went 2-for-4 at the plate and picked up one home run.  She came in to score two times during the series.
