Central, SC - Southern Wesleyan is excited to announce Makayla Raines of SWU Women's Basketball as this week's Mug Shot Coffee Athlete of the Week.

Raines was a key player during the Warriors game against Lees-McRae over the weekend.  She went 14-19 from the field and 5-7 from beyond the arc for a total of 33 points.  Her points scored tied the school record of points in a game that was last achieved Janaye Gillard back in 2012.  She also had nine rebounds, an assist and stole the ball away three times.
